Agilent Acqiris XC200 6U Blanking Panel
The Agilent Acqiris XC200 is a 6U blanking panel that is designed for CompactPCI crates. It is engineered for use with CC10X series chassis including CC103, CC105 and CC108. This unit meets IEEE 1101.10 mechanical specifications and supports industrial EMC and safety compliance. It maintains the structural and electromagnetic integrity of 6U CompactPCI and PXI modular systems. The Acqiris XC200 panel occupies a single 6U slot and conforms to the 4 HP width standard for cPCI systems. It is made from aluminum alloy with a conductive finish that is suitable for EMI containment and shielding. This panel includes captive mounting screws at the top and bottom for secure integration with crate card cages. These mounting points are aligned for optimal grounding to maintain enclosure-level electromagnetic compatibility.
This unit preserves directed airflow by sealing empty module spaces within 6U CompactPCI chassis systems to help maintain optimal internal crate temperatures by supporting consistent front-to-rear airflow channeling. It supports operating conditions up to 45°C ambient in conjunction with forced-air cooled crates to fit in laboratory or rack-mounted configurations operating under specified environmental control parameters.
The XC200 panel is constructed as a passive mechanical component without electrical circuitry or signaling capability and offers 30 G of shock resistance. It supports MIL-PRF-28800F Class 3 shock resistance and 5 - 500 Hz vibration compliance when mounted. This panel design prevents physical ingress and mitigates exposure to backplane connectors in unused slots. The XC200 conforms to safety classification EN 61010-1 Installation Category II and Pollution Degree 2. It is a non-conductive surface barrier when installed properly in an open slot to maintain system safety class. It is typically installed with a screwdriver using quarter-turn fasteners into a chassis front panel guide rail. The unit’s filler module can be removed or relocated without requiring recalibration or interruption of system function. The Acqiris XC200 is used in configurations to combine 6U and 3U modules with adapters such as XC100. It fits into guide rails provided in crates designed for horizontal module insertion. The panel prevents turbulence and leakage of airflow that can cause thermal imbalances across active modules. Its secure grounding also maintains shielding continuity across the crate face.
